Why aren't the apps on Google Play?
Ghost apps come straight from Ghost Hub instead. Android asks you to allow installs the first time, from your browser for Ghost Hub, then from Ghost Hub for the apps. That's normal for apps from outside Google Play.
Are they safe to install?
Every Ghost app is signed by Ghostavix, and Ghost Hub checks each download's fingerprint before installing it. Android also refuses any update that isn't signed the same way, so nobody else can replace a Ghost app on your phone.
Which phones work?
Any Android phone or tablet running Android 8.0 or newer. There isn't an iPhone version.
Does Ghost VPN cost anything?
No. It connects through free servers run by volunteers for the VPN Gate project, using the free OpenVPN for Android app. Ghost VPN helps you install that the first time.
How do I pay for a Paid key?
Make a free account, then tap Buy. You can pay with crypto, sent straight from your wallet, or by UK bank transfer. Crypto keys arrive a few minutes after the payment confirms. Bank transfers are checked by hand, usually within a day or two.
How does the Free key work?
Free keys are coming soon. When they arrive, you'll log in and watch one ad to the end. You get a key for 2 apps of your choice (not Ghost GPS) that lasts 30 days. When it's nearly run out, watch another ad for 30 more days.
What does "works on one phone" mean?
The first phone that enters a key keeps it. If you get a new phone, email us and we'll sort it out.
What do the apps collect?
As little as possible: no ads, no trackers and no accounts. The privacy page lists exactly what each app sends and where.
